Case 24 History ---- The patient is a 73-year-old woman with sudden onset of dysesthesias and asymmetric motor symptoms, anti-sulfatide antibodies and IgM binding to NF155 and IgG binding to neurofascin 140 and 155. Operative procedure: Gastrocnemius muscle and sural nerve biopsies. ---- 24A1A-C Scattered fibers contain well developed parking lot paracrystalline inclusions and disorganized cristae in adjacent mitochondria.
