29A1A-F Electron microscopy shows abundant abnormal mitochondria with abnormal shapes, circular cristae, and sizes with abundant intramitochondrial paracrystalline inclusions, dense intramitochondrial bodies, some with a 'parking lot'-like appearance. In addition, there are numerous dense inclusions within mitochondria. These images demonstrate the gamut of mitochondrial ultrastructural change in this case. (electron micrographs)
