34A1-4 There are collections of numerous mitochondria in a subsarcolemmal distribution. Although these mitochondria were not particularly large or bizarre they contained a few straight cristae-like densities. Numerous small fat containing vacuoles, many near mitochondria, were also encountered. Scattered lipopigment granules were present in the subsarcolemma in relatively small amounts.
