Case 35 History ---- The patient is a 59-year-old woman with a rash, weakness, and elevated CK. Electrodiagnostic testing showed a non-irritable myopathy of the upper limbs. ANA is 1:640. Myopathy autoantibody testing showed TIF-1G and Ro52 antibodies. MHC class I shows diffusely increased sarcolemmal staining and fibers with concurrent sarcoplasmic staining, more prominent in the center of the section. ---- 25A1,2 In these mitochondria cristae are thickened dense and misaligned.
