Case 2 History ---- The patient is a 13-year-old male with rod myopathy and ACTA1 mutation. ---- 2A1,2 There are discrete regions of osmiophilic striated sarcoplasmic inclusions (arrows) most consistent with nemaline rods which appear filamentous and of various sizes. (H&E)
