Case 2 History ---- This 12 year old boy had a history of acute myelogenous leukemia for one year with multiple drug treatment without remission. Complications of his disease included CMV pneumonitis and Candida bronchitis. He developed acute decompensation, white matter hemorrhages and died. There was no evidence of infection in the brain.
