9B1-4 For comparison these images represent the whole mount of the neurosurgical specimen stained routinely (H&E, 9B1), for myelin (LFB-PAS, 9B2), for axons (neurofilaments, NF, 9B3) and macrophages/microglia (CD163, 9B4). Notice the variegated staining pattern focused on the white matter.
