Case 4 History ---- The patient is a 30-year-old HIV positive man with a CD4 count of 420, who is poorly compliant with his medication. He presented to the hospital after a motor vehicle collision. MRI study showed focal areas of intracranial abnormal T2/FLAIR signal hyperintensity which resulted in a parietal burr hole open brain biopsy of the left parieto-occipital lesion.
