Case 14 History ---- The patient was a 95 year old woman with a history of multiple sclerosis dating back to the early 1960s (details are lost) who had not been treated with immune modulatory therapy, only baclofen in the past for spasticity. MRI reports (2000-2004) describe mild cortical atrophy, extensive areas of increased signal intensity in the periventricular deep white matter, mild spinal cord stenosis at C1, and a large MS plaque at the level of the C5 vertebra within the spinal cord. The patient died in 2012.
