Case 4 History ---- The patient was a 35 year old man with a history of multiple sclerosis since 1983 who donated his body to the Department of Anatomy at Washington University School of Medicine. The brain was removed and the bulk was used for MS research purposes. A few slices and tissue blocks of the brain were kept for neuropathologic anatomic diagnosis.
