Case 10 History ---- The patient was a 75-year-old woman with longstanding relapsing and remitting multiple sclerosis, first diagnosed in 1974, who had been hospitalized several times for flareups. Her neurological symptoms per her chart included left foot weakness but without visual changes, diplopia, burning or dysuria. She had reported stress incontinence in the past. The patient had been enrolled in a betaseron study for MS treatment. The patient died in July 2009.
