5C1-3 This sample correlates well with the gross appearance of the plaque shown in 5B. Sections have been stained routinely (H&E, #5C1) as well as for myelin (LFB-PAS, #5C2) and axons (NF IHC, #5C3). Areas with marked loss of myelin are rich in axons which show very few axonal spheroids.
