7A1-5 Gross appearance of plaques in this case. ----- 7A1-3 A single coronal hemisection of one fixed cerebral hemisphere shows two periventricular plaques which are also seen in 7A2,3. They have sharp borders with the adjacent cortex. Note the cortical plaque seen in 7A1 and 7A2 (arrow, 7A2).
