1J1-1M12 Multiple sections of the pons in the same case are shown in this composite stained with a variety of histologic and immunohistochemical techniques to demonstrate brainstem pontine pathology. ---- Compilation of stains of adjacent sections of the pons. There is variation in the lesions in which myelin loss (LFB-PAS) is seen in the absence of wholesale axon loss (neurofilament = NF) and with marked GFAP loss corresponding to the regions of myelin loss.
