6C4A-C These near sequential sections show a white matter lesion stained routinely (6C4A, H&E), for myelin (6C4B, LFB-PAS) and for axons (6C4C, Bielschowsky silver stain). CRV lesions are not demyelinative, rather they show comparable loss of myelin and axons and more resemble ischemic lesions.
