3C1-3 These three whole mount sections show a caudal pontine level stained routinely with H&E (3C1), for myelin (3C2, LFB-PAS) and for axons (1C3, Bielschowsky). Again, nearly complete loss of myelin is accompanied by relative axonal preservation.
