Case 10 History ---- The patient is a 58 year old woman with new-onset seizures, who on imaging was found to have a ring enhancing left frontal mass. She is status post surgery and radiation therapy of a palate/nasopharyngeal cancer. Operative procedure: Left frontal craniotomy and resection of the mass, thought to reflect metastatic neoplasm. Neuropathologic examination demonstrated radiation necrosis with no evidence of residual neoplasm (H&E).
