Case 11 History ---- The patient was a 52 year old woman, status post two resections of sphenoid wing meningioma, left side. Her most recent surgery was in the summer of 1993 and, at that time received radiation therapy. An MRI scan in December of 1993 showed a small right-sided meningioma. Over four months, the patient had worsening dysphagia and hemiparesis. Clinical diagnosis: Sphenoid wing mass; tumor vs. radiation necrosis. Operative procedure: Craniotomy and decompression of mass.
