There is little change in the white matter of the digitate and centrum semiovale in this coronal section. In the next images the pathology is shown to be restricted to the region of the third ventricle and optic pathways as well as the brainstem. Although white matter is targeted, gray matter is also afflicted, which may represent delayed radionecrosis. There is no evidence of residual neoplasm.
