6A1-3 This whole mount of the pons is stained routinely with H&E (6A1), for myelin (LFB-PAS, 6A2) and for histiocytes (CD68, 6A3). At first glance the appearance suggests ADEM with its punctate involvement of the white matter. However, the pathology is neither demyelinative nor perivenous.
