5B1-4 Hematoxylin and eosin-stained sections demonstrate a neoplasm composed of primarily squamoid epithelium with trabecular to papillary architectures. Sections show a benign neoplasm composed of squamous epithelium with trabecular to papillary architecture. However, focally, stellate reticulum, microcysts, calcifications, ‘ghost’ cells and wet-keratin are identified. Mitoses are scattered and focally reach a count of ~ 3/10 hpf.
