8B1-3 Histologic sections of the sellar mass show multiple fragments of a heterogenous solid and cystic lesion with mature appearing squamous epithelium, some of which shows a mildly palisading basilar cell layer. Numerous large and irregular islands of anucleated squamous cells ('wet keratin') are outlined by incipient calcifications and with associated areas of incipient ossification.
