Within the fibrous tissue is an exuberant reactive component including many mature-appearing lymphocytes, hemosiderin containing macrophages, scattered calcifications, and cholesterol clefts associated with multinucleated foreign body giant cell response. This craniopharyngioma appears to have a cystic component, which ruptured and produced the exuberant reactive changes present.(H&E)
