Case 5 History ---- The patient is a 43-year-old man with diabetes insipidus. Brain imaging studies showed an 8-mm well defined suprasellar T1 hypointense, T2 hyperintense, enhancing ovoid lesion in the infundibulum. Operative procedure: Endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal approach for biopsy of pituitary stalk lesion and later resection of the tumor. ---- 5A1,2 MRI studies shows a small suprasellar hyperintense T2-weighted contrast enhanced neoplasm in coronal (5A1) and axial (5A2) views.
