6B2-4 Sections show a tumor composed of large, cohesive sheets of squamoid cells with distinct intercellular bridges and minimal (no definitive keratin pearls and no cystic areas) intracellular keratinization. Occasionally, the squamous component is organized on hypocellular fibrous cores, giving it a papillary appearance. A few of the cores have lymphocytic infiltrates. (H&E)
