4B1,2 The small size of the GCT, perhaps better considered a tumorlett in this case, provided only the possibility to stain with a limited number of special stains. In this case synaptophysin stained a few GCT cells (red arrow, 4B1). Synaptophysin also stains the adenohypophysis (blue arrow) and axons composing the neurohypophysis (arrowhead). (SYN IHC)
