Washington University Experience | NEOPLASM (SELLAR) | TTF-1-positive sellar tumor - Granular cell Tumor | 5A1 Granular Cell Tumor, colon polyp (Case 5) 1 H&E 4X 1
5A1-5 Microscopic evaluation of both the ascending colon and cecal polyps showed a similar appearing benign submucosal neoplasm with a minor mucosal component. The tumor was arranged in a lobulated pattern divided by thin fibrovascular septae and the individual tumor cells are spindled to polygonal with pale eosinophilic granular cytoplasm containing rather bland oval nuclei. There was minimal mitotic activity. (H&E)
