Case 14 History ---- [63yo male with a non-secretory macroadenoma of the pituitary gland.] ---- 14A1 There are two component parts to the specimen, a tumor and normal residual acini which are being invaded by tumor. The cellular tumor is composed of bland, monotonous cells with round to oval nuclei, speckled chromatin, inconspicuous nucleoli, and moderate to abundant amount of eosinophilic/clear cytoplasm. There is minimal atypia and significant numbers of mitoses are not seen.
