14B1-5 Islands of entrapped normal pituitary acini are also seen. ACTH stains cells in the non-neoplastic acini which show the change in neurosecretory granule distribution caused by Crooke’s hyaline change, some of which have massive perinuclear accumulation of keratin in non-neoplastic ACTH containing cells which are highlighted by ACTH immunoreactivity.
