16C1,2 Immunohistochemistry for ACTH shows variable staining patterns within the gland. All cells in the microadenoma nodule have homogeneously increased ACTH staining over background. The non-tumorous acini show scattered ACTH immunoreactive cells. Arrows show the junction of tumor and non-tumorous gland. (ACTH IHC)
