Case 1 History ---- [70yo female with Sx acromegaly and a pituitary lesion.] ---- 1A1-3 H&E stained sections show a monomorphic population of cells growing in sheets and aligned along a delicate capillary network. Tumor cells have eosinophilic granulated cytoplasm and round, regular nuclei with stippled chromatin. Eosinophilic cytoplasmic fibrous bodies are numerous (arrows, 1A2). Nucleoli are frequent.
