Case 16 History ---- The patient was a 13-month-old girl with Turner’s syndrome who began to reduce the use of her left arm around 9 months of age. ---- 16A1,2 MRI examination showed an extramedullary mass at C6-C7 causing severe spinal cord stenosis and extending out of the left neuro foramen along the brachial plexus. Intraoperatively tumor was noted to reside mostly outside the dura mater. There was an incidentally noted 7 x 14 mm non-enhancing “glioma, unbiopsied” in the tectum. The family history is significant for CNS tumors in two other half siblings who both died of their disease. Operative procedure: Laminectomy.
