18A3 ATRT (Case 18) H&E 60X 1
H&E stained sections show a solid proliferation of poorly differentiated malignant cells with irregular nuclear membranes, vesicular chromatin, macronucleoli, and a small amount of amphophilic/basophilic cytoplasm with focal perinuclear clearing. Rhabdoid appearance, short spindled phenotype, and stag-horn vasculature are noted focally. Mitoses and karyorrhectic debris are abundant.
