A subset of neoplastic cells has small round cell appearance with minimal cytoplasm, high nuclear-cytoplasmic ratio with hyperchromatic nuclei and nuclear moulding. Another subset has much more abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm with eccentric vesicular nuclei and prominent nucleoli, consistent with a rhabdoid phenotype.
