In some areas, the tumor has a primitive appearance, composed predominantly of small hyperchromatic cells with minimal cytoplasm and numerous mitoses. Some of these cells are arranged surrounding a central lumen with multiple layers of tumor cells and high mitotic activity; these structures are consistent with multilayered rosettes.( H&E)
