More primitive regions have striking proliferative immunoreactivity (Ki67 IHC) ---- Not shown: FISH was performed showing normal dosages of both chromosomes 2 and 8. There was no evidence of either gene amplifications or chromosomal gains. ----
Comment: The morphologic and immunohistochemical features are consistent with the diagnosis of embryonal tumor with abundant neuropil and true rosettes, WHO grade IV, now called ETMR.
