The majority of the specimen is composed of an embryonal neoplasm. Many areas are densely populated by cells with hyperchromatic, atypical, elongate-oval nuclei, occasional prominent nucleoli, and minimal cytoplasm. These cells exhibit nuclear molding or wrapping and sometimes occupy weak fascicles.
