Case 10 History ---- [31yo female with chronic headache and vomiting found to have a large midline posterior fossa and 4th ventricular mass on MRI that measured 2.8 cm. Operative procedure: Craniotomy with tumor excision. ---- 10A1,2 Sections show a hypercellular tumor composed of sheets of cells with indistinct cytoplasmic borders and small round nuclei with coarsely stippled chromatin and inconspicuous nuclei. Necrosis and scattered karyorrhectic debris is seen and mitotic activity is frequent. The density of the cells is variable with pale nodular foci of larger cells.
