INI1 is retained, ruling out an ATRT. ---- Not shown: FISH showed a gain of NF1 consistent with isochromosome 17q, a common abnormality in medulloblastomas. There was also polysomy of chromosomes 2 and 8. The histologic and immunophenotypic as well as the FISH results are that of a medulloblastoma, WHO grade IV.
