Case 17 History ---- [36yo female Hx of melanoma resected from leg. Presenting with five months of worsening headaches. MRI T2/FLAIR demonstrated hyperintensity in the cerebellum. Operative procedure: Right cerebellar stereotactic biopsy.] ---- 17A1-3 The tumor cells have small, oval, irregular, hyperchromatic nuclei with inconspicuous nucleoli, a high nuclear-to-cytoplasmic ratio, and scant cytoplasm. Mitotic activity is brisk. The tumor cells are seen infiltrating through the Virchow-Robin spaces in the adjacent fragments of cerebellum. There is no definitive area of nodular/desmoplastic differentiation.
