17E Medulloblastoma, SHH type (Case 17) YAP1 1
Tumor cells show widespread reactivity for YAP1. ---- Not shown: Tumor cells are negative for CAM5.2, HMB-45, and Melan-A. GFAP highlights entrapped cerebellar parenchyma and shows focal reactivity within the tumor cells. INI-1 is retained in tumor cell nuclei. CD45 and CD20 highlight small, mature-appearing lymphocytes. P53 shows weak-to-moderate reactivity in a subset of tumor cells. Neurofilament highlights a subpopulation of entrapped axons. NeuN is positive in the entrapped cerebellar granule cells. ---- The overall findings are consistent with a diagnosis of medulloblastoma, SHH-activated, WHO grade IV.
