An immunostain for beta-catenin shows cytoplasmic staining exclusively. ---- Not shown: An INI-1 stain is retained in tumor cell nuclei. A Ki-67 immunostain demonstrates a high index of proliferation, positive in approximately 50-60% of cells. Likewise, p53 shows scattered nuclear reactivity. There are a few GFAP scattered positive tumor cells and immunoreactivity in reactive glia in adjacent parenchyma. A neurofilament stain is negative.
