6B1,2 The neoplasm consists of dense aggregates of small, primitive appearing cells, with scanty cytoplasm, hyperchromatic nuclei, common mitoses and focal necrosis. Rare cellular rosettes around a fibrillar core are noted. There is focal subpial perivascular tumor spread into adjacent folia.
