The Ki-67 labeling index is extremely low. ---- Comment: The morphologic and immunohistochemical features are consistent with the diagnosis of desmoplastic/nodular medulloblastoma in the original resection specimen. In contrast, the second specimen resembles ganglioglioma or gangliocytoma. This shift in morphology almost certainly represents the rare phenomenon of complete or nearly complete maturation in a medulloblastoma. (Ki67)
