The morphological and immunohistochemical features of this tumor are most consistent with a LC/A medulloblastoma (WHO Grade IV). The nuclear expression of Beta-catenin as well as the lack of C-Myc or N-Myc amplification are favorable prognostic indicators. Though a high percentage of medulloblastomas demonstrate isochromosome 17q, this aberration was not present in this case.
