Tumor cells are arranged in markedly hypercellular sheets separated by hyalinized microvessels. A small amount of cerebellar parenchyma shows tumor cells in the subarachnoid space. Neoplastic cytology is noteworthy for very high nucleus to cytoplasm ratio, extensive nuclear molding and cell wrapping, nuclear hyperchromasia and very high mitotic rate. (H&E)
