INI1 immunoreactivity shows retained nuclear expression. (BAF47 IHC) ---- Not shown: A stain for epithelial membrane antigen is negative. ---- Comment: The morphologic, immunohistochemical, and genetic features are consistent with a diagnosis of large cell/anaplastic medulloblastoma, WHO grade IV. The anaplastic and large cell features suggest a more aggressive biology and this is further supported genetically by the presence of MYC-N gene amplification.
