The vasculature of the tumor tissue shows widespread endothelial hyperplasia and architectural complexity, reminiscent of glomeruli. Some vessels are surrounded by nucleus-free zones filled by eosinophilic/amphophilic fibrillar cell processes, suggesting pseudorosettes. A small subset of vessels are surrounded by more-cohesive tumor cells with vesicular chromatin and prominent nucleoli, that appear more epithelial, creating a micropapillary architecture. Mitotic figures are abundant. (H&E)
