2B7 MedMyoBl LC-A (Case 2) H&E 7
2B7-9 This pattern is composed of cells with distinct elongated morphology and plentiful pink cytoplasm or "strap" cell appearance. Other areas have cells with plentiful cytoplasm with a pericentral nucleus, giving a rhabdoid appearance. Though rare, examples of these cells with cross striations are noted (arrow, 2B9). There is relatively little necrosis in this portion of the tumor. Mitoses are present.
