5A1-3 The provided sections show sheets of a markedly hypercellular neoplasm with a high-nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratio. The tumor cells have round to elongate nuclei, and the majority of cells have only minimal amounts of cytoplasm (i.e., a “small blue cell” phenotype). Scattered throughout the tumor are numerous cells with rounded or elongated bellies of eosinophilic cytoplasm, consistent with rhabdoid and strap-cell differentiation. Mitotic activity is brisk. Rosettes are not conspicuous.
